Participants Sought for Children’s Physical Activity Research Study

The Physical Activity and Health Lab is looking for children and adolescents ages 18 months to 17 years to be a part of a research study to enhance the ability to measure physical activity using accelerometer technology.

Participation is easy. Have your child live his or her normal life while researchers’ equipment (two activity trackers and video camera) tracks their physical activity levels.

Research staff will come to you and work around your schedule.

Participants are asked to complete four 1-hour sessions:

  • Session 1: Home
  • Session 2: Playground/sports/activity class
  • Session 3: Community/club/work
  • Session 4: School/library

Participants will receive a $20 Target gift card for full participation.
