Obituary: Jean S. Emery, worked 24 years in Bursar’s Office

Jean S. Emery, 84, of Florence, a retired teller in Bursar’s Office, died Feb. 26 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton.

Born in Northampton, she graduated from Northampton High School in 1937 and from the former Northampton Commercial College in 1939.

She worked as a receiving teller in the Bursar’s Office from 1956 until her retirement in 1980.

She was the widow of Hugh Emery, who died in 1954.

She leaves her son, Thomas L. Emery of Northampton, her daughter, Sharon L. Emery of Philadelphia, and many cousins.
