William “Bill” Bartos, 48, of Northfield, a former supervisor of janitors in Residence Life, died June 2 related to a previous head injury.
Born in Northampton, he was a graduate of the Franklin County Technical School.
His campus service began in 1985. During his 23 years on campus, he served as a trainer at the Physical Plant Custodial Training Institute and as a Continuous Quality Improvement trainer. He left campus in 2008.
He leaves his wife Darlene and son Colby, his father and step-mother, a brother, two sisters, three brothers-in-law, and several nieces, nephews and aunts and uncles.
Visiting hours are Friday, June 20 from 6-8 p.m. at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal St., Greenfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 21 at 1 p.m. at the Moores Corner Church, Church Hill Road, Leverett. Burial will follow at the Plainview Cemetery, North Leverett Road, Leverett.
