Bernice A. Adamski

Bernice A. (Matuszko) Adamski, 87, of Sunderland, a retired baker at Hampden Dining Commons, died June 30 in Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield.

Born in North Amherst, she graduated from Amherst High School in 1945.

She worked for the WAVES during World War II.

She retired from campus service in 1992.

She leaves husband, Edmund (Mooney) Adamski, her daughter, Cindi Adamski Dalzell and her husband Stuart of Stow; a brother, three grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 3 at 11 a.m. in the Wrisley Funeral Home Chapel, 90 Sugarloaf St., South Deerfield, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Sunderland. There will be a calling hour from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
