Massachusetts Women in Public Higher Education (MWPHE) is seeking nominations for Student Achievement Scholarship Awards, which recognize the outstanding achievements of three female students who are educated in the Massachusetts public higher education system.
Since 1992, MWPHE has awarded scholarships to women who have overcome significant personal barriers to achieve academic success through the Commonwealth’s public institutions.
The students chosen to receive scholarship awards will be honored at MWPHE’s annual spring conference on April 11, 2014 at the Sturbridge Host Hotel in Sturbridge.
Applicants should visit the Student Achievement Scholarship Awards section on mwphe.org to read and review the guidelines and submit their applications. Recommendation forms are also available at the site and the applicant will be able to attach recommendations, an essay and unofficial transcripts to their submission. Applicants must have two recommendation forms completed by an administrator, faculty or staff member as part of the process. All application materials, including the application, personal statement/essay, transcript, and two letters of recommendation must be submitted online no later than Feb. 21, 2014.
