History of the Book Conference Set for Oct. 26

The 5th annual History of the Book Conference is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Renaissance Center, 650 East Pleasant St.

Speakers will include James Russell, Western New England University; Lathleen Tonry, University of Connecticut; Alex Mueller, UMass Boston; Scott Husby, rare book conservator at Princeton University, and Jonathan Bloom.

The conference is free and open to the public but registration is required. Lunch will be provided.

The event is co-sponsored by the Du Bois Library, the Amherst Woman’s Club and the Renaissance Center.
