Tricia R. Serio, head of the department of molecular and cellular biology at the University of Arizona and a finalist for dean of the College of Natural Sciences, will make a public presentation on Monday, Nov. 7 at 4:30 p.m. in S330 Life Sciences Laboratories.
Serio is the fifth and final candidate being brought to campus by the search committee. She is a professor in the department of molecular and cellular biology and the department of chemistry and biochemistry at Arizona.
The dean’s post is being vacated by Steve Goodwin, who is stepping down after leading the college and one of its predecessors, the College of Natural Resources and the Environment, since 2000.
The search is co-chaired by Marjorie Aelion, dean of the School of Public Health and Health Sciences, and Tim Anderson, dean of the College of Engineering.
