Oskar Eustis, Public Theatre artistic director and the Department of Theater’s 2005 Rand Lecturer, will hold a lecture on Monday, March 28 at 4:30 p.m. in the Rand Theater.
The department welcomes Eustis in anticipation of their production in April of Tony Kushner’s Pulitzer Prize-winning work “Angels in America.” The piece first appeared on stage under Eustis’s direction in the early 1990s. In Eustis’s talk, he will focus on his involvement in the creation of the production.
Before the lecture, Eustis will also participate in a question and answer session at 10:10 a.m. in the Curtain Theater. The session offers a chance to learn how Eustis has approached some of the challenges and opportunities his career has brought him.
Both events are free and open to the public.
