Campus Parking Restricted for Weekend of March 3-5

Consistent with changes to the residence hall guest policy for the weekend of March 3-5, all campus parking lots will be restricted to valid UMass Amherst permit holders.

The parking restrictions are in effect from Friday, March 3 at 5 p.m. through Sunday, March 5 at 5 p.m. During these dates, all campus parking lots will be considered 24-hour restricted lots. Vehicles parking on campus without a valid UMass Amherst parking permit will be subject to ticketing and/or towing.

Parking will be available for scheduled UMass Amherst events only.

Vehicles displaying a valid UMass parking permit may park in any unrestricted/unreserved parking space during the parking ban. Note: Lots posted as “24hr Restricted” require an appropriate permit.

Off-campus students and employees who need weekend access to park on campus and do not have a valid parking permit may receive one at no cost from Parking Services. To do so, you must visit either office location and present a valid student I.D. and vehicle registration. Parking Services offices are located at 51 Forestry Way near Lot 25 and in 229 Campus Center.

Visitors attending registered UMass events may park on campus but may be required to show the lot attendant a valid ID and/or event ticket.

Contractors parking on campus during the parking ban must display a valid permit. To purchase a permit, visit either of the Parking Services offices.
