Campus Climate Improvement Grant Applications Accepted through April 23

Applications for 2018-19 Campus Climate Improvement Grants will be accepted through April 23. These grants, which are funded by the Office of Equity and Inclusion and range from $250 to $2,500, are intended to support projects that help build community and create a more inclusive campus.

Undergraduate and graduate students, staff and faculty are encouraged to submit proposals for projects and activities that promote understanding and learning, as well as invest in relationship-building across difference in the campus community. These projects should encourage conversation and connection across race, religion, class, immigration status, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability and nationality to create opportunities for belonging and to strengthen community.

Priority will be given to submissions that are likely to yield more sustained climate improvement and involve members of our campus community. Special consideration will be given to projects that encourage participation and coordination between two or more areas, schools, departments, organizations or groups.
