Alumna Rockette to discuss dance career paths

Alumna Elaine Winslow-Redmond, head athletic trainer and dancer for the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, will return to campus on Friday, Jan. 28 to speak about her career. Her lecture, “Career Parallels: Transitioning from Performer to other Careers in Dance,” will begin at 3 p.m. in Room 13 of Totman Gymnasium.

Winslow-Redmond, who graduated in 1990 from the Department of Music and Dance with a degree in Dance, is in her 11th year of performing with the Rockettes.

Winslow-Redmond holds a master’s of science degree in applied physiology and nutrition from Columbia University. She is a certified athletic trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. Trained as a classic ballerina, she has also performed with the Boston Ballet.
