This year’s Mass Aggie Seminars are focused on “Growing Fruit in the Home Garden.”
Staff from the UMass Extension Agricultural and landscape program will present basic and advanced sessions on apples and stone fruit (peaches, plums and cherries), blueberries, raspberries and grapes, identifying and controlling fruit pests, and even grafting apples.
The seminars are being held on Saturdays from Feb. 10 to April 28 at various locations, including Brooksby Farm in Peabody, Tougas Family Farm in Northborough and the campus’s Cold Spring Orchard in Belchertown. Many of the sessions are hands-on.
