As of this September, public classrooms in ALL academic buildings are part of the Network Registration ("NetReg") System. To access the Internet and other network services from these classrooms, instructors will have to fill out a simple online registration form. Registration can happen in any NetReg-enabled classroom. Just plug your network cable into the blue jack with a gray faceplate (usually located near the podium). Open an Internet browser and, when you attempt to connect to a Web page, you will be directed to the registration form. You''ll need your OIT Account information to complete registration.
We strongly recommend that all instructors register their computers in
advance of their first class. If you need assistance testing or registering
your computer, bring it to A118 LGRC.
