AMHERST, Mass. - John Polkinghorne, professor of mathematical physics at Cambridge University, and an Anglican priest, will speak at the University of Massachusetts at 8 p.m. on Thurs. Nov. 30, in the Campus Center Auditorium. A renowned theoretical physicist, Polkinghorne has studied elementary particles for 25 years. The event is sponsored by the Office of the Chancellor and the UMass God and Science Project, and is free and open to the public.
