AMHERST, Mass. – Helen Symons, a 1965 alumna of the School of Nursing of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, has endowed the Victor E. and Eleanor Tower Symons Nursing Scholarship, which will pay the full cost for a nursing student to attend the school each year. The gift of $582,811 is the largest ever received by the School of Nursing.
