AMHERST, Mass. - James Hafner, professor of geosciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, has received a Fulbright Senior Specialists grant in environmental science. He will leave for the University of the Philippines-Mindanao (UPM) on Sept. 6 and remain for six weeks or longer depending on progress of his work.

AMHERST, Mass. — Brian W. Ogilvie, associate professor of history at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, is conducting research in Europe this year through a $40,000 Fellowship for University Teachers from the National Endowment for the Humanities and a fellowship at the Columbia University Institute for Scholars at Reid Hall in Paris.
