AMHERST, Mass. - The Graduate School at the University of Massachusetts Amherst will hold its Commencement ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 22, in the William D. Mullins Memorial Center. Approximately 1,200 graduate students are candidates for master’s and doctoral degrees. Roberta Soolman, alumna and executive director of Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts, will receive an honorary degree. John R. Mullin, dean of the Graduate School, will offer a welcome. Chancellor John V. Lombardi and UMass President Jack M. Wilson will speak.
