As former General Electric chairman and CEO Jack Welch ’57 concluded his April 11 presentation to about 200 Isenberg School of Management students and faculty, he summed up the lessons of a successful career: “The glass is always half full. Don’t be a moaner. Always over-deliver. And always work in a place where you’re having fun.”
The recipients of full undergraduate scholarships named for John F. Welch, Jr., the former chairman and chief executive officer of General Electric Company, were announced April 11 on the occasion of Welch’s visit to the campus.
