Psychology professor Rachel Keen is among 175 new fellows elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, an international learned society whose members are drawn from science, scholarship, business, public affairs and the arts.
AMHERST, Mass. – The Journalism Program Lecture Series on Broadcast and the Media will host a panel about “The Journalist in Iraq, 2006,” on Thursday, May 4 from 7-9 p.m. at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
A conference on cellular engineering scheduled for Wednesday, May 10 will focus on campus research on the interface of engineering and biology, exploring topics such as protein engineering, cell and drug delivery, stem cell science and research, applied systems biology and metabolic engineering.
Researchers from the colleges of Engineering and Natural Resources and the Environment and the Isenberg School of Management wrote the lead article in the May issue of Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment.
