A gift of $2.5 million from Andrew and Virginia Rudd of California, combined with matching funds, will create a $6.25 million endowed professorship in the Psychology Department. The position will be dedicated to the study of complex issues surrounding adoption.
AMHERST, Mass. – The Scientific Reasoning Research Institute (SRRI) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst has received two research grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF), totaling $5 million. SRRI is an interdisciplinary research organization devoted to the study of learning and instruction in the sciences and mathematics.
