The NeuroCognition and Perception lab is directed by Dr. Lisa Sanders . It is part of the Department of Psychology and the Neuroscience and Behavior Program at the University of Massachusetts– Amherst. Our research focuses on understanding how human neural systems carry out a wide range of processes including basic auditory perception, spatially and temporally selective attention, and speech and music processing. To address these issues, we employ behavioral, electrophysiological, and neuroimaging techniques with adults and children. If you are interested in participating in or learning more about our studies, contact one of the lab members.
