Food Systems Research
The NAL is joining community partners to assess the potential impact of the Senior FarmShare, Mobile Produce Markets and other local food initiatives on improving access to fresh fruits and vegetables for older adults in Hampshire, Hampden, and Franklin counties. Community partners involved in the Food Systems Research Project are Community Involved in Sustainable Agriculture (CISA), Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts Partners for Health Equity and Springfield Elder Affairs.
