Instructions for Participants
- Please fill out the Google doc form entirely and hit Submit. Incomplete applications will not be approved. The student is responsible for checking spelling, dates, opus numbers, etc. An exact timing of performance is required. (No approximations.) Performances must be under 10 minutes unless special permission is granted from the Faculty Recital Coordinator and the studio teacher. Studio teachers must read and approve all applications.
- The Recital Hour is meant to provide an opportunity for all students to perform. If you have performed solo on two previous recital hours in the current semester, your submission acceptance is contingent on time available on the program. In all other cases, submissions are accepted on a first come, first served basis. If your submission is not accepted for your preferred date, you will be contacted with a list of available reschedule dates.
- Submit the online Google doc. If you have questions, contact Angelie Peterson: email@example.com. Form is due no later than 5:00pm on the Wednesday prior to the performance date and no earlier than one month prior. Late applications will be accepted only in special circumstances.
- A draft program will be sent out to studio faculty, staff piano accompanists, and performers no later than the Friday before the performance date. Corrections or changes must be received no later than Monday at 8:00am. No changes will be accepted after this time.
