Amherst Fine Arts Center Concerts

Nationally
and internationally-acclaimed orchestras, jazz artists, chamber
ensembles, recitalists, ballet and modern dance companies, Broadway
shows and theater such as the Saint Louis Symphony, Juilliard
String Quartet, London City Opera, American Dance Theater, Dawn
Upshaw, Mark Morris Dance Company, Chamber Music Society of
Lincoln Center, Winnipeg Ballet, Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln
Center Jazz Orchestra, and ”CATS,” “Fiddler on
the Roof” and “Annie.” Specially-priced student
tickets are available.
Department
& Fine Arts Center Masterclasses and Center Masterclasses &
Workshops.
- Workshops
& Masterclasses are given by renowned performers, performing
ensembles and teachers, singers, jazz artists and instrumentalists
such as the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, London City
Opera, Mingus Dynasty Big Band and Awadagin Pratt. These events
are free to all UMass Amherst students.
