“I had a positive experience while studying at UMass because of the extraordinary quality of the faculty. I never cease being amazed at what a fine group of musicians are present in the department. Few music schools can claim to have such deep faculty talent. I enjoyed a great deal of guided independent work and was given many opportunities to perform and to have my music performed.”

Jonathan Green MM '87
Director of Ensembles, Sweet Briar College, conductor and composer
