JAZZ TRUMPET; LECTURER

Jazz trumpeter Steve Sonntag received his Bachelor of Music from the Ohio State University. Mr. Sonntag is currently a member of the Amherst Jazz Orchestra, the Jeff Holmes Big Band and the Al Alessi Band. He has performed with Nancy Wilson, Hubert Laws, Urbie Green, Buddy DeFranco, Helen O'Connell, John Abercrombie, Peter Erskine, Yusef Lateef, John Fedchock, Ernie Watts, Rufus Reid, Bobby Rydell, Levon Helm, 'Big Joe' Burrell, The Coasters, The Temptations, and Guy Lombardo's Royal Canadians. Steve is also a staff musician for Norwegian Cruise Lines, and he was formerly on the faculty at Westfield (MA) State College.
