Stefan Caris Love
, Assistant Professor of Music Theory, has an MA/PhD in Theory from the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester, and an AB with Honors in Music from Brown University.

Stefan Love

He has taught at Eastman, Oberlin Conservatory, and the University of Chicago. His research, on tonal jazz and chamber music of late eighteenth-century Vienna, has appeared or will soon appear in Music Theory Spectrum, Music Analysis, Music Theory Online, the Journal of Music Theory Pedagogy, and the Journal of Jazz Studies. He has presented at the Society for Music Theory annual meeting and numerous other conferences.
