GENERAL EDUCATION; LECTURER

Miriam Jenkins received a Bachelor of Arts from Lawrence College and a Masters of Music from the University of Massachusetts.  She has conducted musicological research at the Thurn and Taxisches Hofbibliotek in Regensburg, Germany.

Ms. Jenkins has studied clarinet with Michael Sussman, Joseph Contino and John Lynes.  She studied voice with Dorothy Foose and recorder with Marian Verbruggen.  She currently plays in the Valley Light Opera Orchestra and has served as president of their Board of Directors.  She has also played with the Holyoke Civic Symphony.
