INFINITY BRASS QUINTET
Infinity Brass Quintet was formed in 2001 as the faculty brass quintet of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. As the resident faculty quintet, an outreach arm of the Department of Music and Dance as well as active concertizing ensemble, Infinity has performed not only on the UMass Amherst campus, but at exclusive venues such as Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood, and throughout the northeast at high schools, colleges and universities. Known for its adventurous programming, Infinity has performed numerous premiers from living American composers Evan Hause, Dan Becker and Salvatore Macchia, among others.
