DIRECTOR, FIVE COLLEGE EARLY MUSIC PROGRAM, MUSIC HISTORY; LECTURER

Robert Eisenstein, who has a B.A. from Antioch College and an M.A. from Sarah Lawrence College, is a founding member and the programming director for the Folger Consort. He has performed with Hesperus on viola da gamba, and with New York Consort of Viols, Washington Bach Consort, National Symphony, Cappella Nova, Western Wind and Paul Hillier. Eisenstein is a member of the Mount Holyoke/National Endowment for the Humanities Medieval Lyric Project.
