2:00pm Curry Hicks Cage Gymnasium
**Doors Open @ 1:30PM/Show Time- 2pm**
Nature of Event- "Color In The Cage" (CITC), [Open to All Five College Students], is an annual performance showcase event produced and directed by Frederick Omega Pye, in his sixth year as Assistant Band Director/Visual Coordinator for the University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band (UMMB). CITC is a valuable training ground and presentation that features our current and future UMMB Fall Guard members and Featured Twirlers, along with our Fall Color Guard Field Staff Candidates. This year, we are excited to debut students from our new Marching Color Guard Techniques Class, guided by Fred, and assisted by Event Founder, David Hautanen. We also offer a performance outlet for UMass, local High Schools, and Collegiate Guards, Dancers, Cheerleaders, Drum Majors, and Baton Twirlers, in a positive non-competitive supportive environment. Rifles, Flags, Sabres, Mace, Dance. & Props, are a major focus, while we strive to develop future Guard and Baton Twirling instructors in this continually growing pageantry arts activity. This will be our second year proudly collecting can goods and donations at the door the day of our production to help support the Amherst Survival Center, our 2013 Event Charity, along with supporting DVDen as one of our premiere 2013 Event Sponsors for the last 5 years.
Tickets are $3.00 for Youth, UMass, and All Five College Students with Student ID, Current UMMB Students are free with one can good, and $5.00 for Adults.
