Spring 2012 Auditions: Please contact Prof. Kataoka to schedule an audition on Jan. 25, 26 or 27. Be prepared to perform one solo piece or etude on marimba, and one solo piece or etude on snare drum or timpani.

PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE performs percussion music for ensembles of all shapes and sizes, including classic 20th century works by composers such as Steve Reich, John Cage, Gardner Read, Iannis Xenakis, Lukas Ligeti and Carlos Chavez.
