Includes 25,600 students and 1,169 faculty in 10 schools and colleges offering 93 undergraduate majors, 73 masters programs and 51 doctoral programs.
Participates in the Five College system; courses can be taken, at no extra cost, at Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke and Smith Colleges, which are linked by a free bus system. The Five Colleges offer a wealth of academic, cultural and extracurricular activities, accessible to all who study in the area.
