Programs and Services

Size does matter. With over 19,000 undergraduate students at UMass Amherst you may wonder where you fit it. Our programs can help provide you with comfort zones, homes away from home and safe spaces where you can explore your personal as well as academic development at the University.

Academic Support


One of life’s biggest lessons is to know when to go for help and where to go to get it. You made it to UMass Amherst so we know you belong here. Now, we want to make sure that you maximize your time here. Here’s how we can help: we advocate for you with the Bursar’s Office, Financial Aid Office and the Registrar’s Office; conduct pre-advising preparation meetings; inform you about important academic deadlines and provide counsel and encouragement to keep you on track.
