SBS CMASS Alumni Networking in Boston

Michaela Callahan is one of twenty four students that attended the annual SBS CMASS Alumni Network in Boston MA this past spring. This s one of many events organized to assist students in defining their career goals. Michaela, a junior with an economics major, won the Kindle Fire raffle.
“I would encourage other students to take advantage of the networking and other opportunities offered through CMASS & SBS career services. At first I was really nervous about talking to graduates in the job force, because undergrads often feel sheltered, especially if they do not have experience interning or working in their field.
I found that this networking experience was much less intimidating than I expected. It was actually fun and helpful to talk to UMass alumni in a much less formal atmosphere. It gave me a chance to see what kinds of career possibilities are open to me after graduation.”
