18th Annual Du Bois Lecture
Ideas Have Consequences: The Radical Pedagogy of W.E.B. Du Bois
Derrick P. Alridge, Professor in the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia, will give the 18th Annual Du Bois Birthday Lecture. His talk will explore Du Bois' many meanings of pedagogy and offer a genealogy of Du Bois's ideas about a variety of issues faced by black Americans during the 20th century.
