Allies and Resources

There are many allies and resources available on campus to answer your questions and help you succeed.

Meet a Current Student

If you would like to speak with an ALANA (African American, Latino, Asian, or
Native American student) student or visit any of our cultural centers or academic support programs while you are on campus, contact the Visitors Center at (413) 545-0306 to schedule a meeting with a current student. This gives you the opportunity to ask about particular aspects of college life that interest you and to arrange a tour to visit different sites.

Freshman and Transfer Student Orientation

We encourage you to take advantage of the freshman and transfer student orientation programs. The freshman summer orientation is 2 1/2 days long and the transfer orientation is a very full 1 ½ days packed with social activities, meetings, and the business of requesting your residential areas and deciding what classes you want to take.

Visit New Students Orientation to learn more.

Multicultural Theater and Arts

You’ll find that the Fine Arts Center programming offers something for everyone and every culture. Check out Asian Arts and Culture, Center Series, New World Theater, and Augusta Savage Gallery calendars to get started. All are available on the Fine Arts Center website.

Plan Your Career

Career Services helps students and alumni identify and pursue satisfying careers through a variety of programs and services. They also offer programs to assist those employers who are seeking talented students or alumni. For more information visit the Career Services website or call 413-545-2224.
