How Can I Contact My Union?

 

The MSP is an organization to which all members have direct access by simply calling (545-2206) or e-mailing (msp@external.umass.edu) the office. You can keep up to date on union news by going to our website at www.umass.edu/msp/ to see copies of recent Bulletins and announcements of current interest. Issues of concern can be put on the agenda of any regular meeting, and the Executive Director can offer you useful, confidential advice and information on nearly every aspect of university employment. You also should have a department representative. Each year, departments are asked to elect or designate a union representative. Reps attend occasional informational meetings and are an excellent way to get involved in the union. If your department does not currently have a rep, please volunteer to serve in this important capacity.
