The nucleic acid fragment is displayed as a spacefilling model with
pyrimidines shown in red and purines shown in yellow. The symmetrical
CRO repressor is shown in two different representations. The top
chain is displayed as an thick alpha carbon backbone, with wireframe
sidechains, coloured from blue at the N-terminus to red at the
C-terminus. The bottom chain is shown as spacefilling CPK spheres.
Note the major and minor groves of the DNA are emphasised by the
shadowing.
