We are looking at a peptide (green) sitting in the groove of a class I
MHC molecule (mouse H-2Kb, alpha-1 and alpha-2 domains only). In the
center image, we are looking at the face to which the T cell antigen
receptor would bind. The backbone of the MHC molecule uses RasMol's
"structure" color scheme.
This image was constructed from images in a
RasMol "movie" script.
The atomic coordinate file employed is
1VAB.PDB.
