This website was initiated November 1995, and was formerly called the RasMol Home Page. NSF support began February 1997, and continued September, 2000. Emphasis changed from RasMol to Protein Explorer August 28, 2000, and from Chime-based resources to Jmol-based resources in July, 2008.
