Versions of the Template for
Presenting RasMol-Saved Scripts with Chime
- April 1, 1998: Version 2.4
The template now includes three pages (A, B, C) each with 10 buttons
(formerly there was only one page with 3 buttons).
has been consolidated into a single renamed file
Scripts for the DNA and amphipathic color schemes were inadvertantly
omitted but are now present
(see 2fc-how.htm for list of all files).
The "Click on a link or button" startup message has been improved.
- March 27, 1998: Version 2.3
Since March 11, a bug was supposed to have
been fixed in the template font-size control mechanism (see
What's New for March 11).
Today it was discovered that the bug had been inadvertantly
reintroduced; it was fixed again. If you used the version
which crashes Navigator 3.0x, the only file you need to update
to fix your presentation is the file fontsize.js.
- March 11, 1998: Version 2.2
Bug fixed in the font-size control mechanism --
see What's New.
- February 19, 1998: Version 2.1
Back buttons at bottoms of right frames (except for utility
frames) changed to Contents buttons.
- February 17, 1998: Version 2.
- Added font size control.
- All buttons changed from literal
<embed ... >
function calls. This improved structuring
enables all buttons to be changed in a single place. (mainfunx.js)
This facilitated the change from
taking advantage of Chime 2's ability to show which buttons have been pushed.
(This change remains compatible with Chime 1 -- it just doesn't show which
buttons have been pushed.)

single place. (mainfunx.js)
- Chime now shows "Click on a link or button" until a button is clicked.
- Utilities now include setting background to white.
- Added two overview buttons to the beginning of the first page. (These
affect the example presentation but not the template.)
