If a given city is not serviced, the piece cannot be sent to the country at all. The country will return it to the sender. It is important to check with Mail Services about availability before filling out express forms. Mail Services keeps a supply of forms and international express envelopes. Return receipt service is available to some countries.

Your mail pieces should be separated from domestic mail and marked as follows:

Letter Class Mail - Air Mail or Par Avion

Printed Matter - Air Mail - Printed Matter or AO Rate

Parcel Post - Air Mail Parcel Post (always requires special forms).

Weight limits are as follows:

Letter Class Mail - 4 lb. limit to most countries

Printed Matter - 22 lbs. For most Latin American and South American countries, all others 4lb. limit.

Parcel Post - Limits are usually 22 lbs., 33lbs., or 44 lbs. (Algeria, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland have a 66 lb. limit)
