The Media and Music Monuments Collection, on floor 3 of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library, will close on Monday, June 4 in preparation for a new Music and Media Center anticipated to open on floor 6 later this summer.

A team of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. will arrive June 3 to examine all aspects of the UMass Amherst Police Department's policies and procedures, management, operations and support services.
The public is invited to witness one of the rarest of astronomical events, a transit of Venus, at the campus' Sunwheel from 5:30 p.m. until sunset on Tuesday, June 5.
