Preschool openings at Center for Early Education and Care
The campus’ Center for Early Education and Care (CEEC) has full-day and flexible-schedule preschool openings for the 2009-10 school year.
CEEC classrooms are open Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with full-week and part-week enrollment options. A number of tuition subsidy programs are available for eligible families.
CEEC classrooms employ the Project Approach curriculum model conducting in-depth studies of topic that are of interest to the children. Children learn academic knowledge as well as problem-solving, critical thinking, and social skills while engaged in a project investigation. Classroom programming supports children’s emerging self-concepts and assists them in learning social skills. Teachers work with families to ensure that the curriculum meets the individual needs of each child and reflects the child’s home culture in the classroom.
CEEC is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs of NAEYC.
For more information or to request an enrollment application, call the CEEC office at 545-1566.
