Chancellor's Way-Thatcher Way intersection to be closed

The intersection of Chancellor's Way and Thatcher Way will be closed beginning Thursday, July 24 through Wednesday, July 30 to allow for manhole construction. The closure will take place on a daily basis, from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The intersection will reopen to traffic for evenings/nights and over the weekend.

Be advised that steam line work is also being done at the southeast end of Chancellors Way, causing that area and a portion of Clark Hill Road to be closed as well. Travel to and from the Chancellor's Way corridor must therefore be accomplished via Orchard Hill Drive.

Clark Hill Road is scheduled to be reopened to through traffic by this coming weekend. However, the southeast portion of Chancellors Way between Greenough, Chadbourne and Van Meter will remain closed through August.

July 27, 2008.
