WFCR, WNNZ fall fund drive sets new record

Public radio stations WFCR and WNNZ raised more than $267,500 during the fall on-air fund that ended Oct. 24, besting last year’s record of $257,000.

The drive yielded gifts from 2,149 individual contributors from across western New England, including more than 500 new donors.

“It is a testament to the vital role that WFCR and WNNZ play in our region that even in a climate of economic uncertainty, listeners value the service that these stations provide, and are willing to support it financially,” said general manager Martin Miller.
