Open sessions scheduled with finalists for vice chancellor for Research and Engagement
Four on-campus finalists for the position of vice chancellor for Research and Engagement will participate in public meetings with the campus community from June 3-8, according to the search committee chair, Steve Goodwin, dean of the College of the Natural Resources and the Environment.
The finalists are Jeffrey Blaustein, professor in the Center for Neuroendocrine Studies, Neuroscience and Behavior Program and the Psychology Department; Paul Kostecki, interim vice chancellor for Research and Engagement and professor of Environmental Health Sciences; Joseph Goldstein, Distinguished Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering; and Michael Malone, dean of the College of Engineering and Ronnie and Eugene Isenberg Distinguished Professor of Engineering.
All of the sessions will be held in 174-76 Campus Center at 2:30 p.m. as follows:
June 3: Jeffrey Blaustein
June 4: Paul Kostecki
June 5: Joseph Goldstein
June 8: Michael Malone
At each session comment forms will be available for participants to share their views of each of the candidates. Comments can also be provided by e-mail to vcresearch@umass.edu.
