OIT upgrade will interrupt services July 26

The Office of Information Technologies will conduct a major hardware upgrade on Saturday, July 26 from 8 a.m. to noon. As a result, the following services and resources will be unavailable during this upgrade period:

* UMail
* UMass Web site (www.umass.edu)
* Personal Web sites (people.umass.edu, courses.umass.edu)
* UDrive
* Blogs
* Mailing lists

Anyone attempting to access these Web pages and applications will be directed to a page informing them of the outage. SPIRE, SPARK, telephones and network connectivity will remain available through the upgrade period.
