Library adds cell phone booths and lockers

Cell ZoneThe Du Bois Library recently installed cell phone booths and lockers for short-term use.

The first Cell Zone was installed during the summer in the Learning Commons on the building's lower level. Three additional cell phone booths have installed on the lower level and the second and third floors. Cell Zones look similar to phone booths and offer students a quiet environment where they can place and receive cell phone calls without disturbing others.

Located on the second, third, seventh and 10th floors, the lockers are for short-term use while in the Library to store valuables. Users insert a quarter and receive it back when they retrieve their belongings. Library users are advised to keep their valuables with them at all times or stored safely in the lockers.
